Our company is looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join our team.

You will get to deliver mission critical workloads. It is a fast-paced environment. Our emphasis is on value to customers and live site excellence;
Make software services reliable to scale, secure, monitor and auto-manage specialized workloads on Azure;
Work and travel outside normal working hours, weekends and national holidays must be expected;
Warranty call-outs,On-call services,repair fault tracing;
Responsible for the Commissioning of ABB systems and products;
Service reports to be submitted after each task as per requirements;
Conduct start-up according to ABB procedure;
Perform acceptance testing with presence of customer and approval societies;
Conduct training as per agreement;
technical support availability;
Give recommendations;
Call outs on emergency basis must be expected;
Time sheets complete and up to date at all times;
Perform maintenance on product/system according to ABB procedure and practice;
Perform required testing.

Proven ability to collaborate across teams, guide and mentor fellow engineers;
Publications and/or certifications related to cloud technologies a plus;
Proven ability to modify componentized, well-architected software;
Masters or Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience;
Experience in distributed systems and/or cloud platforms a plus;
Experience in systems side of software development, highly scalable infrastructure and distributed systems is a plus;
Strong inclination for quality of services aiming towards zero unplanned downtime;
Demonstrated experience in shipping & maintaining high quality & high load services is a plus;
Sound understanding of software service monitoring & reliability;
Experience in implementing systems to detect early symptoms towards failure is preferred;
Excellence in design, problem solving, coding and debugging. With passion for software quality and security.
