Senior Counsel / APAC Legal Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Counsel / APAC Legal to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, oversight, project management, implementation and training in key areas, including compliance and IP protection;
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement and problem-solving work product of the legal group;
- Identify priority regulatory compliance projects and champion efforts to adhere to applicable requirements;
- Identify, evaluate and advise on all legal aspects concerning our growing business in Asia.
Requirements:
- Experienced India qualified lawyer with 10+ years of legal experience at a firm and in-house at a software company;
- Experience working with commercial licensing arrangements, data transfer and privacy issues, as well as local HR and general compliance concerns;
- Fluency in both English and Hindi.
