Software Verification and Validation Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Software Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance to organizational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements such as FDA, ISO 13485;
- Act as key contributor in trainings of new joiners and support them in the transfer of knowledge during the learning process;
- Be involved in test lab management and improvement of test process activities;
- Performs code inspections using Code Collaborator. Investigate software/hardware, system problems and determine root causes for failures.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is a way of life;
- Working knowledge of Java scripting, C# and Java under Windows platform;
- Management of defects and changes using change management systems preferably TFS;
- Experience in Agile and Scrum principles and ISTQB advanced certification or equivalent would be a plus;
- Ability to travel as needed (minimal);
- Experience in developing and deploying test automation framework using Test Complete (preferable) or UFT or Coded UI;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field with 5 to 8 years of relevant V&V experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field with 3 to 6 years of relevant V&V experience.
