Service Engineer 2 Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Service Engineer 2 to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Triage, investigate and advise about threats related to SSIRPs, CVEs and Security Advisories issued by Microsoft and 3rd Party Companies;
- Help onboarding of new TVM properties on Azure, Autopilot and discrete environments;
- Help in automating and troubleshooting of the TVM infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Ability to learn very quickly in a fast-paced environment;
- Self-motivated, directed and passionate;
- Strong team player who enjoys a mix of autonomy and collaboration-based delivery;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects;
- Good indepth knowledge in Azure Monitor;
- Powershell scripting experience;
- 4+ years software development experience (online services preferred);
- Continuous integration technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure for DevOps, Chef, Puppet);
- BS, or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
- Good scripting/automation skills;
- Expertise in Azure IaaS as well as PaaS Services (include but not limited to;
- Web application server technologies, cloud application design, software architecture and practices; (design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM);
- Deep domain expertise in cloud application development solutions (e.g. PaaS, Serverless, API Management);
- At least 2 years of previous experience working in a 24x7x365 production environment supporting critical real-time applications.
