Concept (Storyboard) Artist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Concept (Storyboard) Artist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Comfortable receiving or giving critiques;
- Provide initial ideas rapidly with rough illustrations and thumbnails;
- Create concept art for environment, props, and characters;
- Create polished concept art that can be used for promotional material.
Requirements:
- Excellent traditional art skills with an eye for atmospheric, perspective, colour, and lighting;
- Strong grasp of colour theory, line, light and shadow and how these influence mood and focal points;
- 3+ years of concept art experience;
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills;
- Proficiency in the use of Photoshop or other digital painting tools;
- Exceptional environmental concept skills.
