DevOps Release Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a DevOps Release Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Hosting go/no go meeting with technical and business stakeholders;
- Documenting and Coordinating detailed action plan for the release week-ends;
- Acting as the point of contact and communicating project status to all participants;
- Creating and maintaining release documentation, plans and status reports;
- Managing release action items, monitoring progress to completion;
- Tracking release activities and coordinating with User Acceptance Testing Leads;
- Scheduling release meetings and publishing corresponding agenda;
- Establishing and maintaining release management reports and dashboards;
- Gaining release stakeholders consensus on release content.
Requirements:
- Should be good at problem solving and debugging with excellent analytical skills;
- In-depth understanding of Testing Life Cycle and latest Test methodologies and processes;
- Detail oriented and able to remain calm under pressure;
- Proactive/assertive attitude and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Extensive experience of Atlassian tooling (JIRA and Confluence), Bitbucket and Artifactory or other open source code management;
- Strong experience in DevOps experience including release management experience;
- Quick Learner Ability to learn new technology, tools and best practices in solution areas.
