Test Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Test Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Upskilling the team to achieve the testing strategy;
- Stay up to speed on process, practice and technology, new developments in QA areas and validate them for adaptation to our environment;
- Responsible for creating test infrastructure and tools;
- Monitor the effectiveness of testing practices in all stages of SDLC/STLC and ensure constant improvements;
- Define quality metrics, setup target, monitor and report and setting up goals to meet the target;
- Ensuring that unified testing process and tools used across all sprint/project teams.
Requirements:
- Good experience in designing and developing testing tools/frameworks;
- Proficient in any one of programming language (e.g Java, Python) to build testing automation;
- 8+ Years of experience in testing domain and great level of understanding of development practices;
- Great understanding on Unit testing, Functional testing, UI and Cross browser, Performance testing and Security testing;
- Experience in setting up CI and CD environment with multiple quality gates;
- Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD);
- Experience of technically leading Test Automation projects both on Web, Mobile and REST automation side;
- Experience in test case management system.
