Our company is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end;
  • Liaising with vendors and keeping relevant stakeholders up to date with developments;
  • Monitoring systems in the existing network to ensure there are no productivity set-backs;
  • Troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues when they arise;
  • Maintaining IVR application environment – AWS/Nortel Periphonics/Avaya ODHandling Production Incidents – L1/L2 support;
  • Configuring and Maintaining Devops pipeline with Jenkins/Ansible;
  • Performing Health checks in Non Production & Production environments along with Alerting &Monitoring;
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure;
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes;
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution;
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks;
  • Working with the service teams and System Engineering team to automate infrastructure setup;
  • Managing Cloud infrastructure and manage RBAC for developers;
  • Solutions and support within their timelines with the customer and internal stakeholders;
  • Excellent spoken, written and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • The ability to effectively network with key stakeholders and ensure project hurdles are referenced at appropriate times;
  • Knowledge of RDMS;
  • Knowledge of mobile device-specific user interfaces and experiences;
  • Knowledge of DevOps and lifecycle;
  • Experience creating scripts (e.g. using Perl, Ruby, Python) and setting up software for automation;
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Masters preferred);
  • Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring;
  • Oneor more years of experience with Jenkins & Ansible;
  • One or more years of experience with AWS resource creation & maintenance;
  • One or more years of experienceon ELK Stack and configuring Kibana Dashboards;
  • Oneor more years of experience in production monitoring;
  • Oneor more years of experience in handling the IVR Support operations;
