Java j2ee Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Java j2ee Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications;
- Investigate alternatives and technologies and present them for architectural review, in order to support continuous improvement;
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle;
- Create well designed, testable, efficient code;
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance;
- Assist in the preparation and production of releases of software components.
Requirements:
- Java-J2EE-L3 (Mandatory);
- 5+ years’ experience of working on a Java Developer position;
- Solid experience in software development, and particularly in test-driven development;
- Familiarity with Mobile Application Development platforms will be a plus;
- Solid markup skills utilising HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript;
- Strong, demonstrable experience in creating Web Services (SOAP, REST) ;
- Java, J2EE, Spring and Hibernate;
- Significant experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms;
- Minimum: 1 to 2 years of experience.
