ICT Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a ICT Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support;
- Create technical documentation;
- Install routers, switches, load balancers and firewall equipment;
- Redesign and reconfigure alarms for Citrix network;
- Investigate and diagnose problems. Where applicable, identify short-term work-around solutions;
- You can contribute to continuous improvements in the organization;
- You will configure and integrate nodes and solutions into networks (new and existing);
- Support and maintain routers, switches, load balancers and firewall equipment;
- Execute test scripts;
- You will create cost effective solutions through activities in network design, planning and deployment;
- Gather requirements and provide input on the RA Citrix design;
- Install and configure the RA solution;
- You will maintain the environment at an operative state;
- Design/configure alarms for Citrix network (monitored by the Front Office team);
- You will also provide the technical support handling of internal and external customers.
Requirements:
- Being able to handle Ericsson propriety equipment and equipment from other vendors;
- IT Processes, tools and infrastructure knowledge;
- Minimum years of experience: (Recruiter to supply);
- Domain experience: (Recruiter to supply area of expertise – e.g.: Cloud, BSS, OSS etc.);
- Understanding of different Software operating systems;
- Hands on Scripting technologies – Terraform, PowerShell Servers;
- Hands on implementation experience with any of the following: Azure, AWS, Cloud IaaS, PaaS, O365, Cloud Integration technologies, etc;
- Education MSc. or other academic degree in Computer Science or Engineering;
- Provide technical expertise in Azure;
- Evaluate and make recommendations/decisions on technical options as appropriate;
- Design & Implement IT infrastructure solutions in both On Premise and Cloud;
- Provide effective leadership to assigned project staff ensuring compliance with project standards, processes, and controls;
- Roles and Responsibilities;
- Work with service providers and vendor to ensure that services received meet expected requirements of contract;
- Individual contributor to manage and work independently.
