Our company is looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, prototype and deliver cloud native solutions, leverage cloud specific (AWS/Azure/GCP/OpenStack) platform rich services offering;
  • Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights;
  • Lead deployment of projects, creation of collateral, and training of sellers and partners in the area of Analytics and Big Data;
  • Design, prototype and deliver cloud agnostic microservices architecture leveraging Kubernetes, Pivotal and other PaaS platforms;
  • Able to advise and design solutions that include network virtualization and Software Defined Networking;
  • Assess the customer cloud maturity, review existing cloud implementations, identify gaps and suggest improvements;
  • Day-to-day lead the customer through the technical and organisational challenges of Cloud and DevOps transformation;
  • Create a unified strategy for cloud transformation governance, automation, security, implementation and operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language;
  • Expert level knowledge of Software Resiliency Engineering (SRE) and performance engineering for massively distributed systems;
  • Problem solving and Analytical abilities;
  • Avid technologist, with deep expertise in multi-cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure and OpenStack;
  • AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack (multi-cloud) certifications are an additional advantage;
  • Deep understanding of SDN, network overlay and physical networks is a plus;
  • Hands-on experience with various virtualization products and hypervisors like – VMware, KVM, OpenStack etc;
  • Ability to suggest competitive and innovative technical decisions, get client buy-in and deliver commitments;
  • Expert knowledge in private, public and hybrid cloud architecture, networking, workload types, migration patterns and tools;
  • Ability to tune Linux kernel for network, storage and compute intensive workloads;
  • History of successful implementation of complex multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecture solutions.
