Backend/DevOps Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Backend/DevOps Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with all levels of SocialChorus staff to implement new features and give product demonstrations;
- Analyze, organize and provide in-depth code reviews to improve applications dynamically and ensure the timely completion of projects;
- Employ an open-source collaborative development design to broaden each significant feature and compose clear descriptions and PR messages;
- Interact with team members to improve our engineers tools, technology stack and application performance and stability.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in Web Development, Software Engineering, Software Development;
- Capable of designing and building out API’s that a developer community could be engaged to leverage;
- Good knowledge of Python;
- Good knowledge of an IaaS provider such as Azure or AWS;
- Good understanding of Database technology (SQL,noSQL);
- Experience with GDAL is a plus;
- Experience solving difficult problems with a scripting language (e.g. Bash, Ruby, Python) in a Linux environment;
- Excellent debugging, out-of-box thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
