AX Applications Quality Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a AX Applications Quality Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and potentially revise testing strategies and cases based on project scope changes;
- Reconcile test results from different tests and different groups;
- Provide mentoring, training, and overall guidance to other resources participating in system testing;
- Assist developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving root cause of problems;
- Raises risks, issues, and action items pertaining to system test per the project’s risk management and issue escalation plan;
- Creating and developing test scripts based on business requirements and processes, aligned with defined workflows and use cases;
- Work with business and technology leads to identify appropriate data for testing and prepare that data for the test cases;
- Assess project readiness and deviations from end-product performance based on test results and alignment to business requirements;
- Coordinate adequate levels of testing documentation with the appropriate technical groups and/or business units;
- Supporting and performing testing in conjunction with and in support of the Black Box’s software development life cycle (SDLC);
- Work with appropriate business and technology leads to determine the acceptable range for test results and overall performance;
- Document testing standards and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience with JIRA and Microsoft TFS or equivalent code management/SDLC software;
- Experience with IT solution deployments both domestically and internationally;
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL, Microsoft Dynamics AX or equivalent ERP preferred but not required.
