Sr. Business Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provides feedback on the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes;
- Collaborate with Business, IT Business Partners, Architects and Tech Leads to elaborate on the requirements;
- Responsible to drive UAT and testing of functionality;
- Ensure seamless business operations support (third line support) when needed;
- Supports Delivery Manager & IT BP during the pre LPC phase in evaluating the solution feasibility, solution design and high-level estimation;
- Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence;
- Responsible to promote out of the box functionality to the BPE and Business community;
- Responsible for development and maintenance of WiKi and KM artifacts;
- Coaches the Business Analyst and functional consultants including partners;
- Supports the Delivery Manager in validating estimations provided by partners, and timely provision of technical environments;
- Responsible for Software Quality, Compliance & Regulatory aspects of the solution;
- Translates business requirements into user stories and Functional Requirement Specifications in accordance with approved IT Architecture;
- Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results;
- Meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines;
- Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements.
Requirements:
- Supports the Delivery Manager in validating estimations provided by partners, and timely provision of technical environments;
- Responsible for Software Quality, Compliance & Regulatory aspects of the solution;
- Translates business requirements into user stories and Functional Requirement Specifications in accordance with approved IT Architecture;
- Coaches the Business Analyst and functional consultants including partners;
- Responsible to validate test plan and functional test cases and sign off acceptance of the product;
- Responsible to promote out of the box functionality to the BPE and Business community;
- Responsible for development and maintenance of WiKi and KM artifacts;
- Execellent Comminication Skills (Verbal & Non-verbal) (English);
- Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence;
- Good at MS Office (sheets, docs, presentations, etc);
- Ensure seamless business operations support (third line support) when needed;
