Sr. UI/UX Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. UI/UX Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Front End Engineer. Document features for seamless handoff to design and development teams;
- Design user interfaces for digital platforms including marketing sites, web applications, eCommerce sites, mobile apps and digital products;
- Map user personas and desired actions. Be the Usability Champion in the team;
- Create exceptional UX strategies for our global clients and help optimize business conversions and bring success to the product;
- Improving internal work flow and educate other team members to UX & UI’s best practices;
- Lead client presentations and discussions of your work;
- Provide design leadership and mentorship for your project team;
- Should be self-driven, proactive and possess good communication skills to articulate the design process;
- Running tests, research and collecting user feedbacks on ongoing projects;
- Design Strategy based on User Mapping, User Stories, Business Needs, Technology inputs;
- Strong problem-solving skills and conceptual thinking;
- Be a leader, putting your client and team before yourself;
- Assist in scoping out the timeline and requirements of UX-UI design engagements;
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies;
- Create style g ui des, visual design patterns and supporting graphics for new and existing products.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven work experience as UI Designer for iOS, Android and Web Applications;
- Demonstrated custom web design skills that show creativity beyond applying third-party templates;
- UI and UX Design expertise;
- Strong visual design skills: Latest trends, color and typography;
- Design, develop, maintain various Android mobile applications development projects;
- Experience with: iOS design, Android design, interaction design;
- Must be self-directed, confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication, both written and spoken English, with both technical and not-so-technical;
- 1-4 years of demonstrated design experience;
- Strong interaction design skills: wireframing, prototyping;
- Degree in Graphic Design / Applied arts with demonstrable knowhow in UX Design;
- Should be able to contribute through the Design Thinking process.
