Our company is looking for a Auto Cad Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Submit all completed work to supervisor for review;
  • Keep files organized and to ensure they are filed correctly;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Communicate with supervisor all issues on project estimates to insure timely resolution;
  • Ability to create roof plans and floor plans using Auto CAD;
  • Ability to apply the above knowledge when creating lightning protection estimates including;
  • Ability to read and understand all construction documents from a plan set;
  • Ability to determine type of building construction;
  • Contracts you do not have the authority to sign contracts or agreements;
  • Obtain product knowledge of the lightning protection components;
  • Ability to determine roof type;
  • Ability to complete a lighting protection estimate in an average of less than 8 hours;
  • Ability to analyze data and situation and come up with creative solutions;
  • Use software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects;
  • Knowledge of industry, engineering, math, and materials.

Requirements:

  • Some College preferred;
  • Engineering Degree;
  • The individual must posses the following skills and abilities;

  • Communication skills-oral and written;

  • Can work with little supervision after training;
