Lead Automation Test Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead Automation Test Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for end-to-end Business Testing and Regression Test Strategies for regular maintenance;
- Lead discussions with customers and mentor/guide team in all of the above skills.
Requirements:
- Automation experience in JUnit, Web Services and API Testing;
- Other PLs and technologies (an advantage): Go Language, NodeJS, Python, MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka;
- Good knowledge design and development of automation framework;
- Strong experience in Selenium;
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC);
- Proactive professional, with excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Core Java programming skills;
- Must have minimum 1 of these – in the order of preference: Good experience in API/Web Services;
- Production experience with agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Experience in doing in-sprint automation;
- Good experience using technologies: Java, Selenium, Cucumber or JBehave;
- Experience in Agile project implementations;
- Strong experience in and understanding of Test Strategy and ability to design and implement;
- Experience working in multi-location, multi-cultural, mission critical projects is highly preferred.
