Plan, develop, or conduct surveys. May analyze and interpret the meaning of survey data, determine survey objectives, or suggest or test question wording. Includes social scientists who primarily design questionnaires or supervise survey teams.

Our company is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets;
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes;
  • Build and improve data infrastructure to route customer data into warehouse;
  • Design and develop data warehouse for capturing and storing data;
  • New data collection from internet;
  • Leverage clustering techniques to identify and create relevant target segments for multiple marketing campaigns;
  • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports;
  • Filter and clean data, review reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems;
  • Work with stakeholders across engineering, operations and finance team to propose cost reduction initiatives;
  • Model data in order to create reporting infrastructure/dashboards for business process management and data mining;
  • Generating reports from single or multiple systems;
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs;
  • Execute deep & complex quantitative analyses that translates data into actionable insights;
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analyst if necessary;
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics, mechanical, industrial or computer science/engineering;
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques;
  • Working knowledge of one compiled programming language, such as Java or C++ is desired;
  • Experience in building and/or leveraging visualization, prediction and recommendation systems;
  • Experience with SaaS platforms like AWS and services is a must;
  • Master’s degree in any engineering field is considered a plus;
  • Prior work experience or internships in industries such as engineering, power, construction, manufacturing or oil and gas will be considered favorably;
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst;
  • MBA;
  • Prior knowledge about e-commerce and consumer behavior would enable faster and more effective understanding and growth;
  • Python;
  • Proven experience working in a particular domain (Healthcare, Finance, CRM, etc);
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques;
  • The person should be extremely fluid with Microsoft excel;
  • R Programming.
