Our company is looking for a Blue Planet (Enterprise Automation) – Scala/Java Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely and effectively with other software development teams as well as product line management, architecture and product verification teams;
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement in software engineering practices and product quality;
- Influence architectural decisions, participate in design/code reviews, test plans and technology strategy;
- Participate in all phases of the development cycle – plan, design, implement, review, test, deploy, document, and train;
- Collaborate with other technical leads and architects on system architecture and design.
Requirements:
- Experience writing Ansible Automation playbooks and roles, or experience with Puppet, Chef and Salt is a plus;
- Interest and ability to quickly learn and ramp-up on new languages, frameworks, and technologies;
- Experience working in Agile development environments;
- Strong technical background in the Enterprise networking domain and Cloud technologies such as Docker, OpenStack, VMware etc;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience architecting software applications using Java, Python, J2EE, and WebServices;
- Experience developing with technologies such as Ansible, YAML, NETCONF, YANG, JSON, REST;
- Excellent inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills.
