Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated Business Technology Solutions Associate with specialized expertise in Varicent to facilitate the deployment of Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) and Sales Planning solutions across India. This position plays a pivotal role in the project lifecycle, requiring close collaboration with senior leadership to configure Varicent platforms, manage data processing workflows, and assist in documenting requirements. The ideal candidate will bridge technical execution with business needs, ensuring accurate implementation of compensation structures and sales planning tools while maintaining high standards of data integrity and system performance.

Responsibilities

• System Configuration & Implementation: Execute configuration of Varicent ICM and Sales Planning modules according to established designs, including the development of complex calculations, components, workflows, and compensation plans aligned with specific business rules.
  
• Design & Technical Analysis: Contribute to low-level design discussions by interpreting solution architectures and applying knowledge of ELT/data pipelines to support data processing initiatives.
  
• Documentation & Requirements: Author comprehensive user stories and functional design documents following stakeholder consultations, utilizing MS Office suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to maintain structured and accessible records.
  
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage effectively within a global delivery environment, participating in client interactions and internal strategy sessions to capture precise meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up tasks.
  
• Data Governance: Oversee data loading, validation, and reconciliation processes within the Varicent environment, performing rigorous quality checks to identify and rectify discrepancies or calculation errors.
  
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Formulate and execute detailed test cases and validation scenarios, conducting thorough quality control on deliverables prior to senior review and supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
  
• Knowledge Transfer: Assist in the creation of user training materials and documentation, while actively participating in knowledge transfer sessions and providing support during post-go-live operations.
  

Requirements

• Approximately two years of hands-on professional experience specifically working with the Varicent platform.
  
• Demonstrated foundational proficiency in Varicent ICM and Sales Planning modules.
  
• Solid understanding of ELT/data pipeline concepts and data processing methodologies.
  
• Proven track record in configuration tasks and implementation support activities.
  
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with effective problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication abilities with a demonstrated capacity for seamless team collaboration.
  
• Ability to operate independently on assigned tasks while remaining open to guidance and mentorship.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior involvement in at least one end-to-end Varicent implementation lifecycle.
  
• Fundamental knowledge of incentive compensation principles, including crediting mechanisms and payout structures.
  
• Practical experience utilizing data visualization and reporting tools such as Excel or Power BI.
  
• Possession of a Varicent certification (highly desirable).
