About the job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Source electronic components required for hardware production, including both domestic and imported components.2. Develop and maintain relationships with component suppliers, distributors, and manufacturing partners.
3. Handle sourcing and procurement of materials/products required by the organization as needed.
4. Coordinate closely with EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) partners for production planning and execution.
5. Negotiate pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors and EMS partners.
6. Track production schedules, component availability, and order execution to ensure timely manufacturing and dispatch.
7. Work with engineering and production teams to support smooth NPI (New Product Introduction) and mass production activities.
8. Maintain and manage manufacturing documentation, including EBOMs (Engineering BOMs), MBOMs (Manufacturing BOMs), schematics, PCB layout files, Gerbers, and procurement records.
