Creative Director of Editing

Role and Responsibilities

Evaluate story ideas for potential as interactive stories.

Lead idea generation for social media posts related to stories.

Assist authors in resolving issues with story structure, pacing, and quality, ensuring consistency with themes like Romance, Drama, and Mystery.

Generate story ideas and write story plots and dialogues.

Create, implement, and manage internal processes related to the writers' pipeline.

Develop guidance documents for new writers joining the project.

Oversee coin options within stories to ensure they are engaging and appealing to users.

Track the progress of writers and proactively resolve problems that arise.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Perform editing as required.

Play top competitor games (e.g., Chapters, Choices) to derive learnings and incorporate improvements into your work.

Who You Could Be – Background and Experience

Graduate with expert-level written and spoken English and impeccable grammar.

Exposure to US, EU, and global markets, with an understanding of what works internationally. (Not India-focused content.)

Experience leading, writing, and collaborating with a team of writers.

Mastery of the structural basics of good storytelling.

Strong understanding of branching narrative style of writing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task under strict deadlines.

Strong time and resource management skills.

On-the-fly problem-solving ability and ability to be creative on demand.

Plays mobile games regularly and has a passion for interactive storytelling.
