We're Hiring: Business Development Associate (BDA)
Location: Calicut, Kerala (Onsite)
Company: 1% Abroad – India's premium university expert
Experience: 1–2 years in sales (preferably in EdTech)
Language: Excellent command over spoken and written English
Compensation: 3-4L (based on experience) + performance-based incentives
About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Associate to join our growing team at 1% Abroad. You will be at the front line of our student acquisition process, helping aspirants take the first step toward studying at top global universities. Your goal is to connect, consult, and convert!
Responsibilities
Reach out to and follow up with leads via calls, WhatsApp, and email
Understand student needs and explain suitable services
Schedule and conduct counselling sessions or demos with mentors
Achieve monthly student registration targets
Maintain detailed records of leads and conversions on CRM
Work closely with the marketing and counselling teams to optimize funnel efficiency
Requirements
- 1–2 years of proven sales experience (EdTech preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken & written)
- Ability to empathize with students and confidently explain our value
- Goal-oriented, self-driven, and a team player
- Willingness to work from our Calicut office
