Job Purpose
Responsible for building and installing base market position by locating, developing, defining and where appropriate negotiating, and closing business relationships. Development Managers update clients about a company's products or services in order to increase sales. They develop relationships in new territories and increase sales by contacting potential clients directly.
Job Context
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients/ Business.
Job Dimensions
The role will be based at Nashik India. This role shall report directly to Sales Director, LEI. Incumbent should have experience of 12+yrs in the field of Switchgear and willing to travel to various sites within the assigned territory.
Key Accountabilities
These will include:
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Should have a high level of self-motivation and the ability to deliver results.
Strong understanding of order management processes and best practices, including order booking, pricing, shipment tracking, and customer communication.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Outstanding customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
