About the job
Onycon Infrastructure is Urgently Hiring Civil Engineer trainee/Jr. Civil Engineers (Freshers and 1 month -2 years of experience in a construction background) to work on infrastructure projects. The role will provide hands-on exposure to Project Planning, Execution Monitoring, Quantity Measurement, Billing, Material Reconciliation, and Project Documentation.
Key Responsibilities: A. Planning1. Understand drawings, BOQ, specifications, and work scope.
2. Assist in preparing work plans, schedules, and activity targets.
3. Track planned quantities and project milestones. B. Execution Monitoring
1. Monitor actual work progress against the plan.
2. Collect daily and weekly progress data from site teams.
3. Track quantities completed and pending activities.
4. Report delays, variations, and execution issues. C. Measurement and Quantity
1. Measure work executed at site using drawings and actual site data.
2. Prepare measurement sheets and quantity statements.
3. Assist in joint measurements with clients and consultants.
4. Verify subcontractor measurements. D. Client Billing
1. Assist in preparing Client RA Bills.
2. Calculate bill quantities based on approved measurements and BOQ.
3. Check quantities, rates, and supporting documents.
4. Follow up on bill submission and certification. E. Subcontractor Billing
1. Check subcontractor bills against actual work completed.
2. Verify quantities, rates, and work-order conditions.
3. Prepare and process subcontractor bills.
4. Resolve quantity and billing discrepancies with site teams. F. Material Reconciliation
1. Track major materials such as steel, cement, concrete, and aggregates.
2. Prepare monthly material reconciliation statements.

1. Fresher Civil Engineering graduates, as well as candidates working in construction firms with 1 month–2 years of experience, are eligible.

4. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QS software such as AutoCAD, MS Projects, etc.
5. Education: UG: BTech/BE in Civil Engineering.
