Network Engineer - LAN/SDWAN

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with 7 to 10 years of expertise in LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Firewall technologies.The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level 3 (L3) support, managing enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex network issues, and ensuring the availability, security, and performance of network services.This role requires strong hands-on experience in network operations, firewall administration, incident resolution, and infrastructure optimization within large-scale enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities : - Provide Level 3 (L3) support for enterprise LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments.- Manage, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance.- Administer and support firewall platforms, including policy management, rule optimization, and security compliance.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, connectivity, routing, switching, and security-related issues.- Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures.- Support network design, implementation, upgrades, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives.- Monitor network performance and proactively identify capacity, reliability, and security concerns.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve infrastructure issues.- Ensure adherence to network security standards, governance policies, and operational procedures.- Maintain network documentation, configurations, topology diagrams, and support records.- Participate in change management, patching, maintenance activities, and disaster recovery planning.- Provide technical guidance and support during major incidents, escalations, and production outages.Required Skills & Experience : - 7 to 10 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or Infrastructure Support.- Strong hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN technologies.- Extensive experience providing L3 support for enterprise network environments.- Strong expertise in firewall administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and policy management.- Deep understanding of routing and switching protocols.- Experience troubleshooting complex network performance, connectivity, and security issues.- Knowledge of network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance management tools.- Experience with incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.- Experience working in enterprise-scale, multi-site network environments.- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
