OTC Process Representative-Proposal/Quotations

Job Duties

• Under direct supervision, the OTC Process Specialist supports the Opportunity to Cash (OTC) value stream and function which includes end to end business processes for relieving and processing sales to fulfillment and invoicing for goods/services
• This role will work in Business Development (Pricing and Contracts or Proposals and Quotes) or Operations (Sales Order Management or Invoicing)
• The incumbent creates, edits, manages and validates OTC internal and customer data and system documents with attention to details, accuracy and timeliness
• Communicates with team and internal clients
• Provides peer training to new team members
• Takes an active part in the continuous improvement process
• Promotes and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations
• A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment are required
• A Bachelors Degree in Business and previous experience working in the oil and gas industry, specifically in business development, field operations, or field engineering are preferred

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Proposal Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating accurate proposals and quotations based on requests received from Business Development and Account Representatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, process excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to service standards.

Important Requirement

• This is a Work From Office (WFO) role based in Bangalore.
• Candidates must be willing to work permanent night shifts (9:30 PM to 6:30 AM IST).

Key Responsibilities

• Create and process proposals, quotations, and pricing requests received from Business Development and Account Management teams.
• Ensure all quotations are prepared accurately and in compliance with established guidelines to minimize downstream operational impact.
• Manage and close requests within agreed timelines through Salesforce and other designated systems.
• Deliver high-quality service while consistently meeting customer expectations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate effectively with Sales, Business Development, and cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain process excellence and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to quality, compliance, and operational standards while handling proposal-related activities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Graduate degree required.
• Preferred: B.Com, MBA, or equivalent qualification.

Experience

• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes, particularly upstream Order-to-Cash activities such as:
• Quotation Management
• Order Management
• Hands-on experience with SAP and/or Salesforce will be an added advantage.
