Today, DPK caters to over 50,000 satisfied customers.Position TitleSales & Marketing Executive Fresher (In-house / Cold Calling)Work LocationJC Road, BangaloreInterview AddressKalasipalya, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560002Mode of WorkingWork From OfficeDays of Working6 Days a WeekResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Cold Calling Make daily outbound cold calls to prospective customers (industries, commercial establishments, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, construction companies, etc.) to generate interest in DPK's diesel generator sets (52,500 KVA range). Identify and build a database of potential leads through market research, directories, industry lists, and online sources. Qualify leads based on power requirement, budget, and purchase timeline before passing them to the field sales team.Customer Engagement & Follow-Up Explain DPK's product range (DPK, DPK VECV, DPK Escorts, DPK Baudouin) and value proposition to prospective customers over calls. Maintain consistent follow-up with leads at various stages of the sales funnel to move them toward conversion. Schedule appointments/site visits for the field sales team with qualified, interested prospects.Data & CRM Management Accurately log all call details, lead status, customer requirements, and follow-up notes in the CRM/lead tracker. Maintain and update the lead database regularly to ensure no prospect is lost or duplicated. Prepare daily/weekly call reports and lead conversion summaries for the reporting manager.Market & Product Awareness Develop a working understanding of diesel generator applications across industries (standby vs. captive power, KVA sizing basics) to speak credibly with prospects. Stay updated on DPK's product range, service offerings, and competitor landscape to handle basic customer queries confidently.Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with the field sales/business development team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads. Work closely with the marketing team to align calling campaigns with ongoing promotions, exhibitions, or product launches. Report daily call volume, connect rate, and lead quality metrics to the Sales Manager.Target Achievement Meet daily/weekly/monthly targets for number of calls made, leads qualified, and appointments scheduled. Continuously improve calling scripts and pitch based on customer feedback and conversion patterns.Skills Needed Freshers with a Bachelor's degree in any stream (BBA/B.Com/BA preferred; Marketing specialization is a plus). (Technical Backgrounds like BE/Btech/BCA/MCA are not considered) Good verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada. Confident, persuasive, and comfortable making high-volume outbound calls. Basic computer proficiency MS Excel, MS Word, and familiarity with CRM/lead tracking tools (training will be provided). Self-motivated with a target-driven, resilient attitude comfortable handling rejection on cold calls.
