Program Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Manager based in India. This fully remote role focuses on leading infrastructure management and capacity planning initiatives within a cloud technology environment. You will help ensure cloud services remain scalable, reliable, performant, and cost-efficient as products and business needs evolve. The position works closely with engineering, product, feature, and operations teams to translate requirements into practical infrastructure strategies. You’ll oversee complex initiatives from planning through execution while balancing technical needs, resource utilization, and long-term growth. The role provides an opportunity to work with Microsoft Azure and enterprise infrastructure components at scale. Strong program management, technical understanding, and cross-functional communication will be essential to driving successful outcomes. Accountabilities - Oversee infrastructure management initiatives, ensuring reliable operations, strong performance, and continuous optimization. - Lead capacity planning and optimization activities for products and cloud-based services. - Manage key infrastructure components and services, including Microsoft Azure, AZAP, Elastic AP, Autopilot, and Pilotfish , with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. - Partner with engineering and feature teams to gather, clarify, and document infrastructure requirements. - Define infrastructure needs across existing and new VM and cloud infrastructure SKUs. - Coordinate infrastructure initiatives from initial planning through execution, tracking dependencies, priorities, risks, and deliverables.

- Work with software engineering, product management, and operations stakeholders to align infrastructure investments with business and technical objectives. - Identify opportunities to improve resource utilization, infrastructure performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. - Support long-term infrastructure planning to accommodate product growth and evolving business requirements. - Perform additional program management and infrastructure-related responsibilities as required. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may also be considered. - 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Technical Program Management, or Infrastructure Program Management within a cloud or enterprise technology environment. - Demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure, cloud platform, or capacity planning initiatives from planning through delivery. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including compute, networking, storage, virtualization, and capacity management. - Experience with Microsoft Azure or another major public cloud platform, particularly in infrastructure planning, deployment, resource management, or optimization. - Ability to partner effectively with software engineering, product management, feature teams, and operations teams to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives. - Strong program planning, organization, stakeholder management, and execution skills. - Ability to communicate technical infrastructure concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and cost optimization. - Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining effective collaboration across distributed teams. - Willingness to participate in occasional in-person activities when required.
