HR Operations Team Lead - ELC HR Operations Specialist -US Contact Center (Tier 1) Join ABB and work in a team that is dedicated to creating a future where innovative digital technologies allow greater access to cleaner energy. The HR Contact Center Specialist serves as the first point of contact for employees and managers in the US for HR-related questions and transactions. This role provides support across HR policies, employee data changes, case management, and basic Workday processing to ensure accurate, timely, and professional service. Your responsibilities - Respond to employee and manager inquiries via phone, email, chat, or case management system.
- Provide guidance on US HR policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Process and validate HR transactions in Workday, including hires, job changes, terminations, updates, and personal data changes.
- Research and resolve issues independently when possible, or route/escalate complex cases to the appropriate HR team.
- Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and transaction records.
- Support employee self-service and educate users on how to complete common tasks in Workday.
- Ensure compliance with HR data privacy, internal controls, and service level targets.
- Partner with HR, payroll, benefits, and other stakeholders to resolve employee issues.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Your background

- A Bachelor's degree in any stream
- 2-5 years of experience in HR shared services, HR contact center, and HR operations.
- Must have work experience in Contact center
- Strong knowledge of US HR processes and employee support practices.
- Hands-on experience with Workday.
- A proactive way of working to serve customers with a "can-do" attitude
- Willingness to work in Night shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high transaction team environment
