J ob Title: Project Manager - Data Center (BMS)
Location: Mumbai
Department: Building Technologies & Solutions (BT&S)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of Data Center projects , with a strong focus on Building Management Systems (BMS) and integrated building solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, including planning, installation, commissioning, stakeholder management, and project closure while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, cost, and timeline objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of Data Center BMS projects from kick-off to handover.
- Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and control activities.
- Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of:
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- HVAC Controls
- Electrical Monitoring Systems
- CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems (ACS)
- Fire Alarm & Life Safety Systems
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and risk mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project KPIs and ensure timely delivery within contractual commitments.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and company standards.
- Handle customer escalations and drive resolution.
- Support project documentation, billing milestones, and project closure activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- PMP/Project Management certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in project execution and project management.
- Strong experience in Data Center projects .
- Experience managing BMS, HVAC Controls, ELV Systems, CCTV, ACS, and Fire Alarm Systems .
- Proven experience in handling large-scale critical infrastructure or mission-critical facilities.
- Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and multiple stakeholders.
