Skeps - Data Analyst - Python/SQL

Description : Responsibilities : - Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.- Develop and implement a reporting infrastructure, interactive dashboards, and other analytical tools to provide insight into the data.- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and highlight any issues in the existing databases/data systems.- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.- Develop regression and forecasting models using historical data to predict the future performance of the portfolio.- Work with management to prioritise business and information needs.- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.Requirements : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in statistics/mathematics/engineering.- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.- Technical experience in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.- Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel, SQL, Python, and dashboarding tools such as Metabase, Tableau, etc.- Develop regression and forecasting models using historical data to predict future performance of the portfolio.- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing and visualising datasets (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Seaborn).- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.- Keen interest in solving problems using data and providing a new perspective to stakeholders.- Knowledge about the practices and procedures in the US unsecured lending industry.- Experience in supervised and unsupervised model development.
