About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing for materials.
2. Source and select new vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns to ensure timely delivery of materials.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material needs and plan purchases accordingly.
5. Review and analyze inventory levels to optimize stocking levels and minimize excess inventory.
6. Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
7. Implement best practices and strategies to streamline the purchasing process and improve overall efficiency.
