Procurement Manager - Packaging

Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for the organization.
• Source, evaluate, and develop new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
• Procure raw materials, packaging materials, engineering spares, maintenance items, consumables, and indirect materials.
• Create and manage Purchase Requests (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt POs (GRPO), and procurement documentation in SAP Business One.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.● Monitor inventory levels and implement procurement plans to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
• Prepare comparative statements, supplier evaluations, and cost analyses for management review.
• Track supplier performance with respect to quality, delivery, pricing, and service levels.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, alternate sourcing, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
• Prepare procurement MIS reports and present purchasing performance metrics to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA or Diploma in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage. experience
