Custom Software Engineering Analyst – Marketing Operations (Campaign Management)

In this role, you will manage and optimize marketing campaigns, automate customer journeys, analyze campaign performance, and improve operational efficiency using marketing technology platforms such as Eloqua and CDP.

What Will You Do?

• Manage and optimize marketing processes, systems, and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Planning and Requirements Gathering

• Collaborate with project managers and marketing stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and requirements.

• Review campaign briefs, clarify requirements before campaign development, and highlight potential risks.

• Assist with audience segmentation, customer journey mapping, and content creation.

• Recommend appropriate Eloqua and CDP capabilities to achieve campaign objectives.

2. Campaign Configuration and Development

• Create and configure offers, workflows, email templates, landing pages, and marketing automations.

• Build and manage automated customer journeys, including welcome series, nurture campaigns, and triggered communications.

• Customize email templates and landing pages according to campaign requirements.

3. Campaign Execution and Management

• Set up and execute email, SMS, direct mail, social/paid media, and other broadcast or journey-based campaigns using Eloqua and CDP platforms.

• Ensure accurate audience targeting and segmentation.

• Monitor campaign performance, engagement metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Conduct A/B testing and optimize campaigns to improve effectiveness and customer experience.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Eloqua, CDP, and campaign execution.

4. Work Orchestration and Data Hygiene

• Maintain accurate records in ticketing and request management tools, including updates, timestamps, and relevant data points.

• Follow established Desktop Procedures (DTPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and process documentation.

• Prepare and maintain campaign reports to ensure accurate reporting to clients and leadership.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign execution and timely delivery.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Eloqua: Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Eloqua, including campaign configuration, automation, and execution.

• SQL and Database Management: Understanding of database concepts and proficiency in SQL.

• Marketing Automation: Strong knowledge of marketing automation processes and best practices.

• Email Marketing: Understanding of email deliverability, audience segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to Eloqua, CDP, and campaign execution.

• API Integration: Exposure to REST APIs and Eloqua API capabilities.

• HTML and CSS: Familiarity with email template customization.

• Reporting and Analytics: Experience tracking campaign KPIs, analyzing performance, and providing actionable insights.

• JavaScript: Knowledge of JavaScript.

• Communication: Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualification: Eloqua certification is an advantage.

Candidate Requirements

• Any graduate degree.

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Eloqua and marketing campaign management.

• Knowledge of SQL, marketing automation, campaign reporting, and email marketing best practices.

• Willingness to work rotational shifts.

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and manage campaign requirements accurately.
