Project Manager

We design, produce, and maintain complex lifting and handling systems and solutions in operational condition. for highly technical installations at the heart of customer processes in markets such as: aeronautic, aluminium, defense, nuclear, offshore energy & marine, and industries.

REEL India Services Pvt. Limited is a subsidiary company of REEL International. REEL is an industrial group specializing in complex lifting and handling equipment’s as well as integrated systems solutions. These systems are integrated into its clients’ processes across the world in various domains such as aeronautics, defense, energy, metallurgy, offshore and industry.

Position:

The Project Manager is responsible for one or more projects executed by REEL in India and or support projects being executed by REEL entities in India.

The main responsibilities are

Project Delivery and Execution:

• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to defined technical performance specs and contractual quality standards
• Fulfill all contractual obligations efficiently and profitably, maintaining systematic documentation and change control
• Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and total cost evaluations across engineering, procurement, logistics, construction/erection, and commissioning
• Manage external engineering companies, suppliers, contractors, and end clients to align scope, interfaces, and deliverables
• Coordinate and manage sub-suppliers, ensuring their site obligations are met and verified for safety, quality, and compliance
• Internal communication within all stakeholders

Project Management and Controlling:

• Proactively own end-to-end project controlling: project P&L, budgeting, invoicing, cash flow, and collections; ensure accuracy and timeliness. Maintain methodical and structured project documentation
• Evaluate project financial risks and opportunities; implement mitigation and recovery plans where needed
• Guide country-specific financial aspects of delivery, supply, and services, including taxation and compliance for projects (domestic and international)
• Monitor and report customer and supplier risk at country level; maintain appropriate credit, contractual, and performance safeguards
• Support finance controller in correctness of project P&L and financial reporting
• Provide expertise on local regulations to global teams; act as key contact for local issues and escalations

Leadership and Stakeholder Management

• Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary, multicultural project team in a matrix environment; set objectives, track performance, and develop talent
• Drive continuous business improvement by participating in and/or leading internal initiatives and lessons-learned programs
• Influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, secure resources, and protect project outcomes
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, finance, legal, and HSE to support bids, contract reviews, and handovers

Governance, Compliance, and Reporting

• Establish and maintain project execution plans, risk registers, cost/schedule control, KPIs, and reporting cadence
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, export controls/sanctions where relevant, and project-related taxes and statutory requirements
• Maintain transparent communications with clients and internal leadership on progress, risks, changes, and financials

Requirements:

Key Skills :

• Experience as a Project Manager for minimum 10- 15 years
• Good Communication skills
• Good Negotiation and Conflict management skills
• Metals Mining Background will be preferred
• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in working in a global matrix organization
• Good exposure in internal and external stake holder management
• Knowledge of invoicing, project related taxes and compliances is a must
• PMP Certification & ISO certification related knowledge is an added advantage
