Located in Chirala, ABC Fashions aims to showcase and revive India’s handloom traditions. Role Description Role Overview: The Production Merchandiser is responsible for managing the entire production cycle of handloom garments. This includes coordinating with designers for sampling, procuring raw handloom fabrics, overseeing cutting, stitching, and finishing, and ensuring compliance with quality standards to meet buyer deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Sampling & Approval: Manage the development of prototypes, fit samples, and size sets, ensuring buyer approvals are obtained before bulk production. Production Monitoring: Act as the liaison between the cutting, sewing, and finishing departments to ensure smooth flow, daily target achievement, and proper line balancing. Quality Control: Ensure the finished handloom garments meet the required quality standards and specifications, including inspection of fabric defects and stitching quality. Order Follow-up & Dispatch: Coordinate with the packing team for final inspections and manage shipping documentation. Key Requirements & Skills: Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in garment production, preferably with experience in working with natural textiles and handloom products. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to manage cost sheets, inventory tracking, and Excel-based production reports. Proble
