About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source materials and coordinate the outsourcing of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components from vendors and subcontractors.
2. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
3. Manage vendor relationships and develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
4. Create purchase orders in ERP systems and ensure proper documentation and compliance with procurement policies.
5. Track order status, coordinate logistics, and ensure the timely delivery of materials.
6. Collaborate with the design, production, and quality teams to understand material specifications and procurement requirements.
7. Monitor inventory levels to prevent material shortages and overstocking.
8. Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
9. Assist with supplier audits and vendor performance evaluations.

Other requirements

1. Hold a diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.

2. Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an engineering manufacturing environment, preferably working with electromechanical components.

3. Demonstrate technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical components used in electromechanical devices.

4. Demonstrate excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

5. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One (SAP B1).

6. Demonstrate familiarity with procurement processes for tool rooms, motors, and electromagnets.

7. Demonstrate an understanding of supply chain dynamics in a manufacturing environment.
