Store Inside Sales Executive (Retail)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Store Inside Sales Executive to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for walk-in customers, guiding them through our range of products, driving in-store conversions, and upselling/cross-selling items to meet sales targets. You will also execute promotional campaigns, manage product displays, and ensure an exceptional end-to-end shopping experience.

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Welcome walk-in customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Demonstrate product features, specifications, warranties, and practical benefits.
• Address customer objections, explain ongoing store offers or financing options, and close sales to achieve monthly targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell complementary accessories, extended warranties, maintenance plans, or upgraded models to increase transaction value.
• Inform customers about promotional events, seasonal discounts, bundle offers, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain attractive product displays, clean shelf arrangements, and accurate price tags and promotional banners according to brand standards.
• Track shop floor stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and coordinate with the stockroom team for replenishment.
• Support billing desk handoffs to ensure smooth payment processing and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer complaints, return requests, and after-sales inquiries professionally.

Requirements:

• Higher Secondary (10+2) or a Graduate degree (BBA, B.Com, or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of experience in retail store sales, showroom sales, or counter sales across non-pharma sectors such as Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, Apparel, Furniture, Sporting Goods, or General Merchandise.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills in the local language and English.
• Strong persuasive abilities and a customer service-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) software and basic inventory management tools.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
