Project Overview:

Responsible for the daily activities associated with timely and accurate processing of Agency, Third Party & Craft payrolls, and related inputs using the enterprise SAP/other payroll tools and system.  

Job Summary:

The position will focus on scheduled performance of payroll tasks, using tools and systems such as SAP for time and attendance information and payroll processing, Forms+, Service Now, Aconex for audit trails and documentation and mailbox handling and supporting queries & for overall control and timely delivery of payrolls within the team setting working closely with other team members. The position will require assisting other less experienced team members in performance of tasks and duties of the group.  

Major Responsibilities:

• Candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate input and maintenance of employee payroll data.
• Reviewing payroll results of either medium sized 3-4 or large size 1-2 agency/craft payrolls for accuracy, inputs discrepancies, reasonableness and final resolution of issues encountered.
• The position will be responsible for validating and uploading files for deductions, tax computations, and other pay-period payments / adjustments.
• Job duties include, creating electronic disbursement files and verification of third party invoices or generating self-billing invoices.
• Balancing outbound third-party files and generating payroll reports to downstream systems or departments as necessary. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Must have legal right to work in New Delhi, India without sponsorship

• Ability to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate proficiency level  

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce  

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of applicable payroll work experience, preferably of Third-party payrolls and related compliances.  

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Payroll and General Ledger accounting systems, processes, and controls
• SAP Payroll system experience
• Ability to work on MS-Excel for various ad-hoc analysis activities
• Conversant with payroll tax and social security rules and regulations.  
• Experience with a large multi-national corporation and multi-country foreign payroll processing
• Able to efficiently organize work activities to meet daily and weekly deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-starter able to use sound business judgment in carrying out assigned tasks
