Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical projects from concept through implementation with a focus on software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that meet stakeholders' requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation.
  • Respond to technical queries and provide solutions, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Perform reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards in software development.
  • Evaluate new technologies and assess their potential benefits to enhance the team’s technical capabilities.
  • Ensure system stability and performance, conducting regular maintenance and updates as necessary.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby, and experience with various frameworks.
  • In-depth understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms.

Desired Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering software solutions on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with technical and non- stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a remote team environment, promoting remote collaboration and communication.
