Gruve Tech - Golang Developer - System Design

Position Summary : We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Golang Developer to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and building scalable distributed systems, developing high-performance microservices, and working within cloud-native environments. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, technical excellence, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed systems that are reliable, scalable, and high-performing- Build and optimize Go-based microservices and backend applications for cloud-native and SaaS platforms- Contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, deployment, monitoring, and production support- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features and system enhancements- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with strong analytical and debugging skills- Drive technical initiatives, engineering best practices, and continuous improvements in system reliability, scalability, and performance- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on new projects and infrastructure enhancements- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and software development processes- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-makingRequired Skills & Qualifications : - 8 to 10 years of software development experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments- Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go) development- Proven expertise in building and operating large-scale distributed systems and microservices architecture- Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native technologies- Experience working with SaaS platforms and distributed systems in production environments- Solid understanding of system design, scalability, performance optimization, and reliability engineering- Proficiency in debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting production systems- Strong understanding of REST APIs, messaging systems, and backend development best practices- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills- Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountabilityPreferred Qualifications : - Experience with Secure Software Development practices- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack- Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiativesWhy Join Us?- Opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact engineering challenges- Collaborative and innovation-driven work culture- Exposure to cutting-edge cloud-native and distributed systems technologies- Career growth opportunities in a rapidly scaling organization (ref:hirist.tech)
