About Us: SaveIN is a Y Combinator-backed fintech company on a mission to make financial products accessible and affordable for every Indian. We offer Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and no-cost EMI solutions through a growing network of Banks, NBFCs, and lending partners, enabling consumers to fund healthcare, education, and everyday needs without financial stress.

This is not a desk job. As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of SaveIN on the ground. We are building a net-new layer of merchant acquisition, and you will be given the autonomy to treat your designated territory like your own P&L. You won't just be selling; you will be building SaveIN's retail footprint from scratch, identifying high-potential merchants, and bringing them into our BNPL ecosystem. If you have the hustle of a founder and the grit of a ground-level executor, this is your launchpad.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ground Zero Acquisition: Prospect, pitch, and onboard new non-healthcare (retail/electronics/furniture/etc.) merchants onto the SaveIN BNPL platform.
2. Territory Ownership: Map your designated city/zone, identify high-footfall merchant clusters, and execute daily field visits to build a robust pipeline.
3. Merchant Activation: Ensure that onboarded merchants are fully trained, activated, and driving their first transactions.
4. Market Intelligence: Act as the eyes and ears of SaveIN on the ground, feeding direct market feedback and competitor insights back to the city leadership.

The Performance Mandate:

We are a performance-obsessed, high-growth startup. This role comes with a clear, transparent target-
1. The Goal: 15 merchant onboardings per month.
2. The Reward: Achieving your targets unlocks a highly lucrative variable pay/incentive structure.
3. The Accountability: To ensure we maintain a high-performance culture, falling below 10 onboardings in a month will result in a 5,000 deduction from your monthly variable component. We hire for success, set clear expectations, and back it with strong rewards!
