We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Houdini Artist for a full-time on-site position based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually captivating simulations, procedural animations, and special effects using Houdini. Day-to-day tasks include developing visual elements such as FX, particles, smoke, fire, fluids, destruction, and more, while working collaboratively with the VFX team to achieve production-quality visuals. Additionally, the Houdini Artist will be expected to refine and optimize workflows, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure seamless integration of assets into larger projects.
- Expertise in Houdini, including procedural workflows and simulation tools for particles, fluids, and dynamics
- Proficiency in shading, lighting, and rendering, with experience in creating high-quality visual effects
- Strong knowledge of animation principles and experience in procedural animation
- Ability to optimize complex simulations and solve technical challenges efficiently
- Understanding of compositing techniques and the ability to work with production pipelines
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team
- Experience in the media, entertainment, or gaming industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects, Computer Graphics, Animation, or relevant experience
