About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook2. Add captions, transitions, sound effects, background music, zooms, and motion graphics
3. Create fast-paced, engaging edits that hook viewers in the first 3 seconds
4, Cut unnecessary pauses and improve flow, clarity, and viewer retention
5. Maintain brand consistency in style, colors, fonts, and overall presentation
6. Add subtitles and on-screen text in a clean and attractive way
7. Work with the content team to understand script, hook, message, and CTA
8. Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips
9. Organize raw footage, edited files, and project folders properly
10. Deliver videos on time as per content calendar and deadlines
11. Stay updated with latest trends in reels editing, transitions, storytelling, and social media styles
