Mobile Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in Selenium (Java) and API Testing using Rest Assured, Mobile Application Testing using Appium is an added advantage, AI-assisted test engineering practices is nice to have. The ideal candidate should possess solid functional testing skills, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to drive quality initiatives across mobile and web applications.
The role requires working closely with business stakeholders, developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases for customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for mobile and web applications.

Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium Java and Rest Assured.

Perform comprehensive Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.

Create and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured with Java. Rest Assured is a leading Java-based framework commonly used for REST API automation and validation.

Validate API responses, request payloads, authentication mechanisms, and backend integrations.

Participate in test planning, effort estimation, risk assessment, and release readiness activities.

Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and ensure timely defect resolution.

Support CI/CD integration and execution of automated test suites.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to QA best practices and process improvements.

Leverage AI-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot, AI-enabled IDEs, or similar tools to improve testing productivity, test generation, and code quality. AI coding assistants are increasingly used to improve engineering efficiency and accelerate software development activities
