Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Bridges to lead our transportation infrastructure division in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the design, development, and management of bridge projects while driving innovation and excellence across our organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with decisive leadership capabilities to manage complex infrastructure initiatives and mentor a high-performing engineering team.

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of bridge infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Indian standards and international best practices
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance bridge engineering capabilities and project delivery efficiency
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance
• Oversee a team of civil engineers and technical professionals, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development opportunities
• Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies for bridge projects, utilizing advanced engineering tools and methodologies
• Collaborate with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation and stakeholder alignment
• Establish and enforce safety protocols, quality assurance procedures, and environmental standards across all bridge projects
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends in bridge engineering to maintain competitive advantage and operational excellence
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and obtain necessary approvals from relevant transportation authorities

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in bridge engineering, civil infrastructure, or transportation projects
• 5+ years of demonstrated leadership and management experience in a technical environment
• Proven expertise in bridge design, structural analysis, and construction management
• Strong proficiency with CAD software, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and project management tools
• In-depth knowledge of Indian bridge design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to project delivery
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex infrastructure projects from conception to completion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent professional certification in civil/structural engineering
• Experience with budget management, cost estimation, and financial planning for infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of sustainable and innovative bridge construction methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
