This role is primarily focused on platform administration (80%), with additional responsibilities involving development and automation activities (20%). The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience managing enterprise ServiceNow environments, supporting ITSM processes, handling platform upgrades and releases, and providing L2 support. Exposure to workflow automation, catalog development, scripting, and integrations is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities : 1. ServiceNow Platform Administration (80%) : Platform Management : - Administer and maintain the enterprise ServiceNow platform.- Configure and manage users, groups, roles, and access controls (ACLs).- Ensure platform availability, performance, and stability.- Monitor platform health and proactively resolve issues.- Maintain governance standards and platform compliance.ITSM Process Support : - Support and optimize core ITSM modules including Incident Management, Change Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management.- Ensure configurations align with ITIL best practices.- Collaborate with process owners to enhance service workflows.- Support Service Catalog administration and Order Guide configurations.L2 Support & Troubleshooting : - Provide Level-2 support for ServiceNow platform issues.- Perform incident analysis and root cause identification.- Handle escalations and critical production issues.- Troubleshoot configuration and access-related problems.- Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for issue resolution.Change, Release & Upgrade Activities : - Participate in release planning and deployment activities.- Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and maintenance windows.- Validate changes before production deployment.- Ensure release processes follow organizational standards.Stakeholder Management : - Work closely with global business users and technical teams.- Gather requirements and recommend platform improvements.- Coordinate with architects, vendors, and support teams.2. ServiceNow Development & Automation (20%) : Workflow and Catalog Development : - Develop and enhance Flow Designer workflows, Service Catalog items, Order Guides, Catalog Workflows, and Custom Applications.Platform Customization : - Build and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.Integrations : - Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Server, Microsoft Graph, and Active Directory.Platform Enhancements : - Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.- Support automation initiatives and process improvements.- Ensure solutions are scalable and aligned with ServiceNow best practices.- Participate in unit testing and UAT support.- Maintain technical documentation.Required Skills : ServiceNow Administration : - 5+ years of ServiceNow Administration experience.- User, Role, Group, and Access Management.- ACL configuration and security administration.- Platform configuration and maintenance.- Service Catalog administration.- Order Guide configuration.- Platform monitoring and health checks.- Release and upgrade support.- L2 production/application support.- Incident management and root cause analysis.- Change and release management.- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).ITSM Expertise : - Strong knowledge of Incident Management, Change Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management.ServiceNow Development Exposure : - Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Service Catalog Development, Order Guides, App Engine, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, JavaScript, and ServiceNow Platform Customization.Integration Skills : - Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Server, Active Directory integrations, and Microsoft Graph.Other Skills : - Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities.- Root cause analysis and incident resolution.- Understanding of ITIL processes.- Technical documentation.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- Ability to work independently in a global enterprise environment.Preferred Qualifications : - ITIL Foundation Certification.- ServiceNow Application Development Fundamentals.- ServiceNow ITSM Implementation Certification.- Experience with App Engine and custom application development.- Experience working in enterprise-scale or global ServiceNow environments.
