About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Audit & Assurance Execution: Support the execution of core assurance procedures under the guidance of seniors, adhering to country-specific and international accounting/auditing standards. 2. Documentation & Workpapers: Clearly and accurately document all executed assurance procedures according to engagement objectives and prescribed EY audit methodology. 3. Client & Sector Research: Gain an in-depth understanding of client backgrounds, industry sectors, and regulatory environments to deliver tailored assurance support. 4. Risk Identification & Escalation: Accurately detect financial/operational exceptions or audit issues and inform local engagement teams in a timely manner. 5. Global Teamwork & Feedback: Collaborate proactively with cross-border engagement teams (US-West), soliciting real-time feedback and delivering quality work under tight deadlines.Skill(s) required

1. Are available for full-time employment at Kolkata (or willing to relocate)
2. Have completed B.Com, M.Com, or MBA (Finance with B.Com)
3. Have secured 60% and above in their current degree with no active backlogs
4. Possess basic knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
5. Have strong MS Office skills (specifically Microsoft Excel and Word) along with an aptitude to quickly learn new software tools
6. Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical thinking, and time-management skills
