About the role :We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team, with strong expertise in test automation. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in validating software functionality, usability, and reliability through structured manual testing practices. You should be comfortable in preparing test scenarios, executing detailed test cases, logging defects, and working closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.Roles and Responsibilities :- Candidates should have hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Playwright.- Candidates should have strong programming fundamentals, as this role requires hands-on scripting and problem-solving.- Strong understanding of load testing concepts, including concurrent user simulation, response time analysis, and performance monitoring.- Hands-on experience designing and executing load/performance test scenarios to ensure application scalability and reliability.- Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and hands-on experience with load testing tools like JMeter or k6.- Understand business requirements and product features thoroughly to effectively define and achieve quality goals.- Execute manual tests to evaluate software usability, identify issues, errors, and bugs, and provide detailed reports to the development teams.- Analyze test results and report the impact of identified defects and usability concerns, collaborating closely with development teams to coordinate bug fixes and prevent the recurrence of issues.- Foster effective communication between the QA team, development teams, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency in test findings and project progress.- Manage test activities with a sense of urgency and accuracy, ensuring project timelines are met and the testing process aligns with project goals.- Continuously improve testing processes, identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance procedures, and implement best practices in testing methodologies.- Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of automated testing procedures.Skills and Requirements :- Proficient in analytical and logical thinking, with a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of at least one programming language is needed, such as Java or Typescript/Javascript.- Excellent communication and articulation skills are essential, along with strong coordination abilities with team members and stakeholders.- Experience working productively and efficiently in an agile development environment, understanding Agile methodologies and associated processes.- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Familiarity with testing web applications, API testing, and working with databases.- Strong understanding of Functional, Unit, Sanity, and Regression testing concepts.- Familiarity with leading tools for requirement management, test case management, bug management, and version control.
